Prime Minister Meles Zenawi stressed the need for cooperation to ensure peace and security for sustainable growth and development in Africa.

Addressing TANA High-Level Forum on Security in Africa held in Bahirdar city on Saturday, Meles said cooperation is instrumental to ensure sustained peace and stability and speed up growth and development in the continent.

The Premier said Africans should strengthen their cooperation further to maintain the auspicious growth of the continent.

He expressed hope that the forum would forward peaceful solutions to address conflicts in some parts of Africa.

መስከረም 15/2ዐዐ4 በሀገራችን ለ4ተኛ ጊዜ የተከበረው የሰንደቅ አላማ ቀን በባ/ዳር ከተማ ሚሊኒየም አደባባይ በርካታ የከተማው ነዋሪ፣ የፖሊስና የመከላከያ ሰራዊት በተገኙበት ሠንደቅ አላማችንና የህዳሴው ግድብ ብሔራዊ ኩራታችን ነው!! በሚል መሪ ቃል ተከብሯል፡፡

በዕለቱ የተገኙት የክብር እንግዳና የአብክመ ርዕሰ መስተዳደር ክቡር አቶ አያሌው ጎብዜ በዚሁ ወቅት እንደገለጹት ሰንደቅ ዓላማችን፤ የሀገራችን መለያ፣ የግንኙነታችን ሀረግና የሉአላዊነታችን መገለጫ በመሆኑ ከፍተኛ ክብርና ፍቅር እንደሚገባው አስረድተዋል፡፡
